Valencia Park, the visionary behind Bow & Paw, is a dedicated veterinary medicine student on the path to becoming a licensed veterinarian. Currently in her second year at Melbourne University, Valencia possesses a wealth of experience in the veterinary field and animal care.
​
Commencing her journey as a veterinary technician in 2020, Valencia has since served as a veterinary nurse at a reputable GP clinic in Melbourne, concurrently pursuing her bachelor's degree from 2021 onwards. In 2021, she expanded her expertise by working at a doggy daycare, immersing herself in the intricacies of dog training and behavior.

Her passion for animals is deeply rooted in her upbringing within an animal-loving family. From her earliest memories, Valencia has shared her home with an array of furry and scaly companions, including dogs, bunnies, turtles, and fish. The aspiration to become a veterinarian is driven by her genuine love and concern for the well-being of all creatures, particularly our beloved canine and feline friends.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Valencia maintains a connection with her homeland in Seoul, Korea, where her 3-year-old doodle, Sunny, resides as a cherished member of her family. The profound bond with Sunny inspired Valencia to establish her pet-sitting services. Struggling with the separation when she first moved to Melbourne, she turned her yearning for Sunny into a heartfelt mission to care for the pets of her friends and the broader community. As a certified pet-sitter, Valencia extends her care to dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, and even plants, ensuring that every member of your family – furry or leafy – receives the attention and care they deserve.
